A bathroom vanity sounds simple until you try to find one that actually fits. Most production vanities come in fixed widths that do not account for the real dimensions of your room. As a result, you end up with filler panels, awkward gaps, or a vanity that looks like it was chosen because nothing better was available.
Forma builds bathroom vanities to the exact dimensions of your space, in whatever finish and door profile fits the room. Because we fabricate in-house, we have built floating double vanities for large ensuites and compact powder room pieces that need to fit in 30 inches and still look right. In both cases, the approach is the same: measure the space, design to it, and build it properly.
A vanity that fits the room looks like it we designed for it. Because it was.
What we build
Wall-mounted vanity cabinetry with concealed hardware and a clean undercut. Because we build to your exact wall width and ceiling clearance, there are no awkward gaps or filler strips on either side. Furthermore, the undercut height relates to the floor finish rather than a standard number.
Ensuite vanities built for two, with storage on both sides and a layout that does not require either person to navigate around the other. Because the storage layout is specific to two separate wardrobes, it works better than a standard double unit. In addition, the mirror position and lighting relate to both people rather than favouring one side.
Small-footprint pieces designed to make a powder room feel finished rather than functional. The constraint of a small space makes good design more important, not less, which is why we do not just scale down a standard unit. Also, the vessel choice, tap position, and cabinet depth relate to each other rather than being sourced separately and hoped to fit.
Tall storage columns that extend the vanity footprint vertically. Because they are integrated with the vanity design rather than added as a separate piece, the bathroom reads as one considered layout.
Recessed or surface-mounted medicine cabinets built to match the vanity finish. Because we design and build both at the same time, the mirror and the cabinetry below it look like they belong together. Similarly, the lighting integrates rather than being added separately.
When the vanity is part of a larger bathroom build, we design and fabricate everything together as one package. That way, the linen storage, toilet surround, and built-in niches all relate to each other. As a result, the bathroom reads as one decision rather than several.
Master ensuites, powder rooms, and full bathroom builds from projects across the GTA.
